Release Notes: A26.2.a

Planned Deployment Date: 16 February 2026

AI Enhancements

We’re excited to roll out a series of system enhancements focused on improving AI-generated property descriptions and streamlining booking cancellation communication.

  • Improved Description Generation: Enhanced reasoning enables clearer, more accurate, and more relevant property descriptions.
    • Promotes greater randomness in opening lines, reducing repetitive phrasing and creating more natural, varied descriptions.
    • The new model delivers improved efficiency, stronger performance, and enhanced reasoning, resulting in higher-quality property short descriptions.
  • Improved Address Awareness: The prompt is now explicitly aware of the property address, eliminating previous confusion between the auction venue and the property location.
    • This ensures generated descriptions consistently reference the correct address context.
  • Consistent Response Formatting: AI-generated responses now follow a standardised and consistent format, improving readability and downstream usability.

Auctioneer Booking Platform Enhancements

  • Booking Cancellation Improvements: Updated the booking cancellation pop-up modal with clearer messaging.
    • Users are now informed that a cancellation email is automatically sent to:
    • Auctioneer
    • Selling Agent
    • Office Admin
    • Booking Admin
  • Enhanced Cancellation Emails: Cancellation emails now include the cancellation reason, ensuring complete transparency for all recipients.
    • This resolves a previous issue where the cancellation reason was not included in notification emails.

Multi-Lot Auction – Bidder Export Access Enhancement

  • Issue: Previously, when a multi-lot auction was created at the root (parent) corporate level, agencies and middle corporates within the same hierarchy were unable to export bidders; even if they had access to properties within that auction.
  • Update: We have enhanced access controls to allow eligible middle corporates and agencies within the hierarchy to export bidders when:
    • The multi-lot auction is created by the parent/root corporate.
    • They have access to relevant properties included in the multi-lot auction.
  • Key Rules:
    • Agencies and middle corporates can export only bidders relevant to the lots they have access to.
    • All existing permission structures and hierarchy rules remain enforced.
    • No access is granted outside of assigned property visibility.

This update closes a hierarchy access gap while maintaining strict permission governance.
