Terminology Standardisation Across Auctions Live

To improve clarity and deliver a consistent experience for all subscribers, we are standardising terminology across both the PC Console and Mobile Console applications. These updates are designed to reduce ambiguity, streamline workflows, and ensure users encounter consistent language throughout the Auctions Live platform.

By aligning terminology with how subscribers interact with Auctions Live in day-to-day operations, navigation becomes more intuitive and users can work more efficiently across both desktop and mobile environments.

Auctions Live PC Console Updates

• ● Create & Edit Multi-Lot Auctions: References to "Presentations" have been updated to "Multi-Lot Auctions", including Event Details screens and Express Queue messaging.
• ● Drafts, Upcoming, Past & Completed Pages: Updated section names, action buttons, and tooltips to align with Multi-Lot Auction terminology and Control Panel naming conventions.
• ● Multi-Lot Overview Page: Updated button labels, controller icons, image validation messaging, and associated workflows for greater clarity.
• ● Control Panel Updates: Auction headings, lot references, warning messages, and panel terminology have been standardised across all Multi-Lot workflows.
• ● Status Selection Improvements: Updated status management labels and added visual dividers to improve readability when changing auction statuses.
• ● Listing Management Pages: Buttons such as "Add Property" and "Import Properties" have been renamed to "Add Listing" and "Import Listings" respectively.
• ● Listing Overview Enhancements: Multi-Lot conversion workflows, status management screens, auction date controls, and media management pages have all been updated with clearer terminology.

Mobile Console App Updates

• ● Listing Filters: Auction type labels have been updated from "Inroom" to "Multi-Lot".
• ● Control Panel Launch: "Launch Presentation Controller" has been renamed to "Launch Control Panel".
• ● No Functional Changes: These updates are terminology and interface improvements only and do not alter existing workflows.

Delegated Scribing Permissions

We are introducing a new capability designed to strengthen auction management across Corporates and Auction Houses by allowing authorised users to delegate scribing responsibilities to associated entities.

Permission Delegation

• ● Direct Linked Offices: Scribing access can be delegated to offices directly linked to a Corporate or Auction House.
• ● Child Corporates & Auction Houses: Permission delegation extends throughout supported organisational hierarchies.

Assignment Rules

• ●Only Office Admin users can assign and manage delegated scribing permissions.
• ●Permissions can be assigned directly from Multi-Lot Auction Create and Edit pages.
• ●Only Office Admins associated with auction lots included in the Multi-Lot Auction will be eligible for selection.
• ●Eligible users will appear in a dropdown menu for quick assignment.

Role-Based Scribing Access

• ●Office Admins, Office Users, and Scribers can access scribing functions once permission has been granted.
• ●Selling Agents require multi-role access before scribing privileges can be assigned.
• ●Available to both financial and non-financial users where applicable.

Control Panel Access

• ●A dedicated Control Panel button will be displayed on Listing and Listings pages for authorised users.
• ●Users can perform auction scribing activities directly from the Control Panel.
• ●All unrelated auction actions remain hidden to provide a focused and secure experience.

Audit Logging & Compliance

• ●All delegated scribing assignments are recorded within the Multi-Lot Auction Logs section.
• ●Audit trails support compliance, accountability, and security monitoring requirements.
