Our Story.
RE Software was founded in 2018 by Anthony Nounnis and Maurie Mazzeo with a clear objective: build reliable, purpose-built technology for professional sale environments.
Drawing on backgrounds across business, real estate, and technology, Anthony and Maurie bootstrapped the company independently, without capital raising from third-party investors or PropTech accelerators.
Auctions Live was the first product released under RE Software, launched in 2018 for the Australian real estate industry. The platform was developed to bring consistency, documentation, and digital structure to auction campaigns that were traditionally managed through fragmented tools and manual processes.
From its early deployment, Auctions Live was designed for scalability. It has since expanded beyond Australia to support clients across New Zealand, the United States, South Africa, Europe, and the United Arab Emirates.
Our Expansion Timeline.
In 2019, RE Software introduced the online bidding module within Auctions Live, representing a key step forward in the platform’s evolution. On its first night live, two online bidders competed all the way to the fall of the hammer, confirming both the reliability of the technology and the growing demand for digital participation in live auctions.
In 2022, RE Software introduced the Auctioneers Booking Platform, developed to support real estate franchise groups and corporate networks in managing auctioneer scheduling, coordination, and fee tracking within a centralised system.
In 2023, RE Software released eSign, a document signing platform designed to operate alongside Auctions Live, providing integrated digital execution for auction-related documentation.
In 2024, RE Software released Reggie, a structured digital assistant designed to operate within the Auctions Live environment, providing guided conversational workflows that capture buyer and vendor engagement data in a consistent, measurable, and controlled format.
In 2025, RE Software launched Offers Live, extending its capability beyond auctions to structured offer-based campaigns including private treaty, Expressions of Interest, tenders, and deadline sales.
In early 2026, RE Software achieved a deep integration with Dolby to power its live streaming technology, reinforcing its commitment to providing clients and bidders with high-quality broadcast capability. This integration introduced new custom broadcasting systems designed to operate seamlessly across both PC and smart device environments, strengthening reliability and streaming performance.
Each release was developed to strengthen operational consistency, reduce administrative complexity, and provide clearer digital records across sale environments.
Investment and Industry Involvement.
In 2022, RE Software made a significant investment into Property Credit, an Australian and New Zealand-based event-driven lender specialising in short term, event-based lending solutions for buyers and sellers. Anthony Nounnis sits on the board of Property Credit, supporting strategic direction and governance.
This investment reflects RE Software’s broader strategic focus on strengthening the overall sale process through services that operate alongside auction and offer campaigns.
Scale and Impact.
By 2025, Auctions Live powered over 38,590 auctions in a single year.
More than AU$1.4 trillion in bids were placed through the platform, facilitating over AU$24.2 billion in property sales.
These figures reflect sustained adoption across independent offices, corporate networks, and multi-branch organisations operating in diverse legislative environments.
Independence and Focus.
RE Software remains an independent technology provider.
The company has no shareholding or directorship affiliations with real estate portals, PropTech accelerators, real estate agencies, auction houses, or auctioneers. This independence allows the platform to operate neutrally across competing brands and networks.
