Order of Sale Enhancements

We are introducing several enhancements to the Multi-Lot Auctions Solution to improve clarity around Order of Sale status, provide better control over its management, and introduce new configuration options for widget pages.

1. Updated Order of Sale Terminology

To better represent the status of lots, the existing Order of Sale controls have been renamed to provide greater clarity and consistency across the platform.

  • Previous Label – Show: Now labelled as Finalised.
  • Previous Label – Hide: Now labelled as Pending.

These changes improve clarity by indicating whether the Order of Sale has been confirmed and published or is still awaiting finalisation.

This terminology update is reflected across:

  • Multi-Lot Create page
  • Multi-Lot Edit page
  • Order of Sale columns within Drafts, Upcoming Published, Past Published and Completed pages

This update is a terminology enhancement only and does not alter existing functionality.

2. Order of Sale Status Controls (View Page)

Enhancements have been made to the Order of Sale Status section on the Multi-Lot Auctions View page, providing users with more direct control over Order of Sale management.

  • Finalised Status: When the Order of Sale has been finalised, the status will display as Finalised. Users can select a Revert action to return the status to Pending if changes are required.
  • Pending Status: When the Order of Sale remains pending, a Finalise action will be available. Selecting Finalise will immediately update the Order of Sale status to Finalised.

These controls make it easier to manage the publication status of the Order of Sale while maintaining flexibility when changes are required.

3. Widget Page Updates

  • Consistent Status Indicators: Order of Sale status indicators and actions, including Finalise and Revert, will also be reflected across relevant widget pages to ensure a consistent user experience throughout the platform.

4. New Widget Feature Settings

  • Show Order of Sale on Listing Page (Corporate or Auction House Events): Displays the Order of Sale ladder on the listing page when a Multi-Lot Auction has been created by a Corporate Group or Auction House.
  • Show Order of Sale on Listing Page (Office / Branch Events): Displays the Order of Sale ladder on the listing page when a Multi-Lot Auction has been created by an Office or Branch.

These new settings provide organisations with greater flexibility in determining how Order of Sale information is presented to viewers on widget listing pages.

Impact

  • Improved Clarity: Provides clearer visibility of Order of Sale status and controls.
  • Greater Flexibility: Adds additional configuration options for displaying Order of Sale information on widget pages.
  • No Workflow Disruption: Existing workflows remain unchanged while benefiting from improved visibility and control.
