Finalise Contracts Before Signing
Review fields, manage recipients, and prepare contracts for digital signing.
Auctions Live allows you to finalise and review a Contract of Sale before sending it for digital signing. You can manage recipients, edit fields, update deposit details, apply layouts, and verify all contract information before issuing the document for signing.
Open and review the Contract of Sale
Step 1: From the Dashboard, select Upcoming, locate the property, and click the View (eye icon) button under the Actions column.
Step 2: Click the Manage Contract of Sale button to open the contract.
Step 3: Click the Hamburger icon at any time to collapse the side menu and increase workspace visibility.
Edit field settings
Step 1: Click any field within the document.
Step 2: Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner to open the field settings pane.
Step 3: Select the field you wish to update.
Step 4: Use the Recipient option to change the person responsible for the action.
Step 5: Use the Value option to edit imported text if corrections are required.
Step 6: Click the X button to close the field settings pane.
Edit a label field
Step 1: Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner to open the field settings pane.
Step 2: Select the required field.
Step 3: Use the available field settings to update the field behaviour.
Step 4: Use the Signature Type dropdown to select an alternative signing method if required.
Step 5: Enable or disable the available toggles where applicable.
Step 6: If additional fields are required, drag and drop new fields from the left-hand panel onto the document.
Step 7: Resize and reposition the fields as required.
Add or remove recipients
Step 1: Click the Change Recipients button.
Step 2: Select either Add Recipient or Remove Recipient from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: If adding a recipient, select the recipient type and complete the required form fields.
Step 4: Click the Add button to save the recipient.
Step 5: Ensure all vendors and purchasers have assigned signature fields before continuing.
Step 6: If removing a recipient, select the recipient from the dropdown list and click Remove.
Download the original contract
Step 1: Click the Download icon.
Step 2: Click the Download button in the preview panel to save a copy to your computer.
Edit the deposit percentage
Step 1: Click the Edit icon from the top menu.
Step 2: Update the Deposit Percentage field in the pop-up window.
Step 3: Click the Update button to save the changes.
Save, apply, or delete layouts
Step 1: Click the Layouts button.
Step 2: Select Save Layout, enter a layout title, and save the template.
Step 3: Select Apply Layout and choose a saved layout to apply to the document.
Step 4: Select Delete Layout and choose the layout you want to remove.
Auto-fill the contract
Step 1: Click the Auto-Fill Document button to populate the contract with the latest auction information available.
Step 2: Review all populated fields carefully before sending the contract for signing.
Helpful Tip
Always review all manually edited fields before clicking Send to Sign. Pop-up alerts such as Data Changed and Missing Signature Field(s) help identify incomplete or modified sections that may require further review.
