Multi-Lot Auctions > OBS Studio

This guide explains how to configure OBS Studio to stream your auction using Auctions Live + OBS. Use this setup if you are choosing to stream via OBS instead of the Broadcaster App.

Set up OBS for Auctions Live streaming

Step 1: Once you’ve created your livestream event in Auctions Live, open OBS Studio and navigate to Settings.

Step 2: Select the Stream tab.

Step 3: Under the service configuration, set the server type to Custom.

Step 4: In Auctions Live, go to the View Page of your auction property, or the multi-lots auction view page.

Step 5: Locate the livestream options, including Live Stream via Broadcaster App and Live Stream via OBS.

Step 6: Click View Details under the OBS option to reveal your Server and Stream Key.

Step 7: Enter the Server details provided in Auctions Live into OBS Studio.

Step 8: Enter the Stream Key provided in Auctions Live as your stream key.

Important

This process must be completed for every unique livestream event. Each auction will generate its own Server and Stream Key details and previous stream credentials cannot be reused.
